Atelier Philosophy

Tattoos are a unique expression of art. The profound art is placed on skin which is the most superficial part of body, the artists immerse themselves in their art and completely forget time for the brief moment the needle enters the skin. Tattoos create moments that can be painful, but for an eternity will be left on the skin. Here is a space of paradoxical aesthetics where a moment meets eternity, superficial becomes profound, endorphins merges with pleasure and art coexist with life.

“Aesthetics of paradox”

The name of Nocturne Atelier was inspired by the aesthetic colors of James Whistler's [Nocturne Series]. Like Whistler, who uses the language of music to draw beautiful light on a flat canvas, our atelier expresses the eternity and aesthetics that Nocturne aims for. We want to share a special experience of enjoying the beauty of art harmoniously and purely, and collecting living works on the skin, not on canvas.

NOCTURNE

The artist's unique design only awakens once transposed onto your skin. It is not stationary art in a gallary, it will live with you forever.
