Narak is a South Korean tattoo artist who specialises in blackwork.

Narak means hell or abyss, a Sanskrit word referring to the underworld in Buddhism. From an early age Narak had a deep fascination for dark fantasty, based on various cultures, histories and religions. She naturally had a rough, pictorial, and atypical touch, but her academic studies in transportation design lead to a more delicate and organic approach. This formula bred a unique artistic style, a combination of aggression and brutality with aesthetic beauty and delicacy.
Day off : Friday & Saturday
+ Working time based on Birmingham.
It can vary on other city or studio.

Designs that have already been scheduled or worked on

If you like any of Narak's flash work or previous pieces, she can design a new unique piece in a similar style with your input added into the tattoo.

Design process

Narak doesn't start any design until the booking has been confirmed. Customers are welcome to visit the studio on the day of the appointment to view the design. It means she doesn't share the design with the customer before the appointment.
The day of the tattoo includes a consultation for design modification, and can accommodate simple alterations on the day.

How Narak works

Before making an appointment with Narak, you can see information about how she works.

Design modification

There should have been enough conversations with customers in advance allowing us to extract all of their ideas and to pinpoint the outcome they want.
To minimize the likelihood and scope of design modifications, please clarify what you want the tattoo to look like when you send an appointment request and provide clear reference images for inspiration.
If the design requires a lot of modification, it is clearly a problem with the prior guidance and direction of our conversation.
To respect Narak please don't ask for a lot of modifications after giving total freedom of creativity.
If the customer requests too many design changes during the session, the operation itself may be cancelled (the deposit is non-refundable).

Working Style

When giving an artist freedom, the best result tends to come out.
Narak basically aims to work in the way of Auteur.
Sometimes people feel the need to give a lot of guidance, or have control over everything down to the smallest detail, or don't know exactly what they want. Along with this if anyone wants to prepare multiple random designs until they are satisfied, I recommend contacting another good artist.
Don't worry though, after looking through Narak's work and deciding to book an appointment with her, the outcome is going to be great with the artistic talent she has.

There should be chances to collaborate, so hopefully you can receive a work of art from Narak :)
